Description:

"Molotov" is the self-titled debut album by Mexican rap rock band, Molotov. The album was released in 1997, showcasing the band's unique fusion of rap and rock sounds. The opening track, "Que No Te Haga Bobo Jacobo," starts with a spoken word intro that sets the tone for the politically charged lyrics that follow throughout the album.
The album includes their hit songs "Gimme Tha Power" and "Voto Latino," both of which address issues like government corruption and social justice. However, Molotov doesn't shy away from humor either, evidenced in tracks like "Molotov Cocktail Party" and "Puto."
The band's sound is characterized by hard-hitting drum beats, distorted guitar riffs, and aggressive rapping in both Spanish and English.
